Chapel of St. Ignatius

The Chapel of St. Ignatius is another focus to my thesis. This spiritual space takes a different approach to how I photograph and convey its space and essence. Designed with purity and introspect, the chapel’s concept is reflective to the Jesuits "spiritual exercises", no single method is prescribed - "different methods helped different people...". Here a unity of differences is gathered into one. The light is sculpted by a number of different volumes emerging from the roof. Each of these irregularities aims at different qualities of light. In the same way the images of St. Ignatius showcase the variety of differences that lay within the building, while collectively speaking together in unity.
